Decorating a small room can be a big challenge, make no mistake.

It’s hard to inject personality when there’s not a lot of, well, room to play with. But unless you’re a die-hard minimalist, you won’t want to keep things super simple either.

To not overwhelm the space, it’s a good idea to work with soft and warm neutrals when picking a paint colour.

But never fear, opting for gentler colours doesn’t mean your decor is going to be dull.
