Good news for SNP Government but clock ticking on double act
The findings contained some good news for the SNP Government on what has been a challenging front, writes Business Editor Ian McConnell.
There was some good news for the Scottish Government in a key survey published last week.
The latest business monitor from the University of Strathclyde's Fraser of Allander Institute reveals a “modest improvement” in relations between business and the Scottish Government. This is calculated from the perspective of businesses.
Of the companies which responded to the survey, 11.8% said the Scottish Government “understands the business environment in Scotland”. This is up by 3.2 percentage points from 8.6% last year.
