Recently we had another bout of mutton crisis in the valley. It is not for the first time that we had the supply of meat stopped to butchers, and butchers refusing to sell any meant. This crisis is a regular feature of our valley’s mutton market. For one or another reason we pass through such crisis after every few years. Normally it happens over the pricing of the meat, but this time it happened for some bottlenecks faced by the traders while they transport animals from outside J&K.........
