Appeals for economic discipline
At a time when the price of crude oil is increasing due to the U.S.-Iran conflict, supply chains are experiencing strain and inflation is threatening the global economy, Prime Minister Modi’s call for individuals to consume responsibly and to have discipline in their economies was not simply political talk. His call was a reminder that national resilience does not just depend on government policies but that it also depends on the collective participation of the public.
