When President Donald Trump meets with Chinese President Xi Jinping this week, he’ll be accompanied by at least five billionaires.
Worth an estimated $870 billion combined, the group includes Tesla CEO Elon Musk, outgoing Apple CEO Tim Cook, General Electric CEO Larry Culp, Blackstone’s Stephen Schwarzman and BlackRock’s Larry Fink, according to the White House. They’re part of a group of 16 executives from U.S. companies expected to attend, several of which have deals pending with China.
The meeting will take place Thursday, with the war with Iran expected to be a key topic.
