BIGGER PICTURE: Purple Heart and Bronze Star find their home
It’s funny how, as we age, our television viewing habits change.
For me, in the past few years I have immensely enjoyed watching “Antique Roadshow” on PBS, which is short for Public Broadcasting Service. That might be, in part, due to the lack of (for me) interesting content being broadcast over Spectrum’s hundreds of stations. How many iterations of “Law & Order” and other series can we have?
Many programs are resorting to straight-out-of-the-headlines for material. Being in the news biz, I already know most of the story lines.
There is plenty of good watching to be had on Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. … thank heavens.
It should be noted — and a little off topic — that in President Trump’s budget bill, $1.07 billion of funding is being rescinded from the Corp. for Public Broadcasting, a private........
