Sir John Leman High School in Beccles has been hailed for its improvements in behaviour, leadership and pupil support by inspectors.

The school on Ringsfield Road was commended for its calm and positive environment, with pupils described as respectful and behaviour described as strong overall.

However, inspectors noted that "a small minority of pupils do not exhibit these traits in their daily interactions with others," which occasionally "leads to unkind language being used by pupils".

Pupils at the school's sixth form were praised for producing work that reflects the depth of their understanding.........
