The new Worlingham Community Hall at St Peters Close has officially been handed over by Lowestoft-based Badger Building to the committee, marking a major milestone for a project that predates the destruction of the village's former community hall in an arson attack in 2023.

Within hours of the handover, the new building was brought to life as a convoy of cars and vans arrived carrying furniture, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment that had been stored in garages across the village while construction was completed.
