Beccles Town Council has formally responded to plans for the Beccles and Worlingham Garden Neighbourhood, a large development planned for the south of Beccles that would include hundreds of homes, a new school, and retail space.

Fears raised include landscape and buffer zones, management of green spaces, and active travel provision.

The council has reiterated worries first raised by Anglian Water about "the adequacy of drainage provision across the site".
