How many motorists were caught by Norfolk speed cameras in April (and where)?
There were 18 permanent speed camera sites in operation on the county’s A roads together with two sections subject to camera-monitored average speed checks.
In total 1,687 motorists were caught, up from 1,592 the previous month.
Most of the increase came from average speed cameras on the A149 between Castle Rising to Dersingham where the number captured was 120, an increase from just 15 caught in March.
In contrast the camera on the A146 Barrett Road in Norwich clocked 46 down from 72.
