Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust have launched a project offering volunteer placements for test-pitting, soil sieving, and finds processing.

The activities will be conducted under the guidance of experts from Norvic Archaeology and experienced volunteers from the Caistor Roman Project.

The archaeological work will take place at the play park in Ferrier Road, Great Yarmouth, next to the medieval town wall.

This site is of historical interest, with the Minster on the inner side of the wall.
