You are not welcome here! Villagers put up signs in battle against holiday site

The Wilderness Reserve and its property called Blyth Barn on the Valley Farm estate has been at the centre of controversy for those living in Huntingfield, a village of 150 people near Halesworth, since last year.

Neighbours were concerned that what they thought was a "peaceful retreat" was turning into an "all singing, all dancing entertainment centre" when it received a 24-hour alcohol licence and a licence to host live music in January.

A "part retrospective" planning application was submitted shortly after for Blyth Barn which would see it becoming an 18-bedroom wedding, party, and corporate venue with general leisure tourism use.

And while the reserve is still awaiting planning permission, people living nearby are showing their objection with signs that say:........
