The Wilderness Reserve has sought "part retrospective" planning permission for an 18-bedroom venue to host spa retreats, weddings, corporate events, and celebrations at its Valley Farm estate

The plans for Huntingfield, near Halesworth, were put forward to reconfigure three previously approved holiday lets into the single guest house called Blyth Barn.

A wave of more than 50 objections have been received for the proposal, with concerns raised about the impact on the villagers and increased traffic on the roads.
