Beccles Town Council had approved the works to repair the riverbank and revamp Waveney Meadow in Puddingmoor in 2023 in a nearly £30,000 project.

And now the council has submitted the plans to renovate the site, which is close to the Beccles Lido, to the Broads Authority.
