Plans to nearly double size of Norfolk service station take another step forward
A bid to expand Gillingham Services, near Beccles, was submitted by Todhunter Two Ltd more than two years ago.
If approved it would see the site gain an M&S food hall and a Greggs drive-through.
The plans also include a farm shop, a BP electric vehicle (EV) hub, six trade units, and a battery energy storage system (BESS).
And while South Norfolk Council has not yet decided on the outcome, the proposal continues to progress as revised drawings have been submitted for the scheme.
EV bays and more accessible parking bays have been added to each trade unit, a new pedestrian crossing has been added, and a footway has been extended.
