More than a dozen police cars descended on Beccles Primary Academy in Ellough Road.

The incident saw three people arrested outside the school after police were called there just before 11.45am.

Police remained at the school until just before 4pm as parents were seen in tears outside it.

No one at the school was injured in the incident.
