East Suffolk Council and Feilden Mawson LLP have unveiled a fresh visual of a project to redevelop the White Lion Hotel in Smallgate, Beccles.

The scheme includes the refurbishment of the grade-II listed building which will see five flats and the ground floor commercial space being brought back into use, and a further four new flats added to the rear of the building.

In a statement, East Suffolk Council said: "We are looking forward to work beginning on this distinctive refurbishment and development of this historic building located in the centre of Beccles".
