Former nursery could be converted to storage space
Emmaus Norfolk and Waveney, based at the All Hallows Convent in Ditchingham, has submitted a bid to change the former Ditchingham Day Nursery into a storage room.
The nursery was used by the Benjamin Foundation but closed at the end of April last year as the foundation moved to the Old School Nursery in Shelton.
Since then, the space has remained empty.
However, Emmaus has now applied for permission from East Suffolk Council to change the nursery into an area for storage and a work room to aid the charity's social enterprise.
