Beccles Town Council may introduce CCTV in Old Market to tackle what councillors said had been "instances of antisocial behaviour" in recent months.

This is said to include rowdiness and inappropriate behaviour.

Barry Darch, Beccles Town Mayor, said the area was also previously identified by the police as a "useful location" for CCTV.

The proposal was discussed at the Assets and Estates Committee meeting last week.
