Could bar and restaurant lose licence over money laundering claims?
The Wine Vaults Bar and Restaurant in Beccles is to be subject to a licence review by East Suffolk Council.
Suffolk police have called for the review over claims that "financial inquiries have revealed that large amounts of money have been laundered via the accounts of the Wine Vaults".
The venue is owned and operated by Christopher Nunn, who is the sole director of a company named Wine Vaults Bar and Restaurant Ltd, the licence holder for the venue.
Last month, Nunn appeared at Ipswich Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to theft.
Bizarrely Nunn turned up to court wearing a mask from the horror film Scream.
