Buildings at former pig farm given green light for commercial units
Adrian Lawson, of Rattlerow Farms Ltd, sought permission from East Suffolk Council in May last year to convert four agricultural buildings into commercial units and storage in Walpole Road, Halesworth.
In the planning documents it said the buildings were used for a pig farm at the site, which was active for 30 years and housed thousands of pigs.
However, the decision was made in 2022 to close the farm down and it was thought the proposed change of use "would be the best employment use" for it.
