Elvis Vickers, 47, is accused of murdering Abdulkadar Chadli at his home on Mousehold Street, Norwich, where the pair had been drinking.

Police found Mr Chadli's body at the property at 10.15pm on November 1 after Vickers had called 999.

Norwich Crown Court, where he is on trial having denied murder, was told that although the pair were friends and neighbours they would regularly fall out in angry disagreements about politics and other topics in the news.
