Great Yarmouth Borough Council's development committee has approved the scheme for Abbeyfield House in Great Yarmouth.

The site in Lawn Avenue will be turned into sheltered housing to support up to nine vulnerable people who need extra support.

The Town Hall in Great Yarmouth (Image: Newsquest) Abbeyfield House closed down in October 2023 and is now owned by the borough council.
