Helen Daniels is a volunteer with RNLI Great Yarmouth & Gorleston Lifeboat and reached 100 on Thursday.

She has been volunteering with the Lifeboat Guild and raising money for the station since 1956.

A Facebook post from the lifeboat station said: "She works tirelessly to raise money to help keep our lifeboats saving lives at sea.

"Helen is still a very active member of the fundraising guild and we thank her for her service so far and wish her a very happy birthday from all the crew!"
