Norfolk cinema taken off the market by owner
The Palace Cinema in Gorleston is no longer for sale after the owner took the venue off the market.
Agents at Christie and Co. confirmed that Patrick Duffy - managing director of Palatial Leisure Limited, which runs the cinema - has withdrawn the listing.

Located on the High Street, it had hit the market for £500,000 last July after Mr Duffy looked to "reduce his workload".
News that it has been unlisted comes after the venue's sister site, The Palace Cinema and Bingo Hall in Felixstowe, was confirmed to have been taken off the market earlier.
The 240-seat cinema, located on Crescent Road in the Suffolk town, had been put on the market for £700,000 through Savills estate agents.

That listing has now been withdrawn and a new general manager has been appointed to manage the cinema and bingo hall.
In a video on Facebook, Mr Duffy said Sean Maguire would be moving from The Palace Cinema in Gorleston to manage the Felixstowe venue.
HISTORY OF THE CINEMA
The art deco-style cinema opened on January 16, 1939, premiering with Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
At its opening, it had 942 seats which were arranged in stalls and a balcony.
It closed in 1964 and was converted into a bingo club, which operated until early 2012.
In June 2017, renovations began to convert the bingo hall back into a cinema and it was transformed into a four-screen, 403-seat cinema, opening in October the same year.

The cinema hosted the East Anglian film premiere of Yesterday in 2019, with director Danny Boyle and writer Richard Curtis returning to the town to pay homage to the film, parts of which were shot in Gorleston.
Ed Sheeran was a surprise guest at the premiere, and starred in the film alongside fellow stars Himesh Patel and Lily James.
