Town carnival hosts first auction to raise money for this year's event
Wells Carnival, which takes place every year and is run by volunteers, has been hit by rising costs.
The auction will support the event, with people encouraged to donate unwanted items.
It follows another campaign to raise funds, with one woman walking 100 miles throughout April.
The auction is being held at the Gordon Barrett Hall on May 25 from 11am.
