The town being tormented by gangs of youths on illegal bikes
They warn the town is being overrun by groups riding recklessly through parks, pedestrian areas and quiet neighbourhood streets.
In one recent incident a dog died after being hit by a youth on a motorcycle who then sped off, and there have been other near misses, with gangs tearing through areas where children are playing.
The bikers - often with their faces covered and without safety equipment - have been using footpaths, speeding and cutting up other vehicles as they race on the roads.

They have also been revving their engines and performing stunts like wheelies.
Police have launched an operation in the town to try to clamp down on the anti-social riding while the local MP is campaigning for tougher legislation to restrict the sale of high-powered e-bikes and conversion kits, which can be used to make vehicles faster.

Among the hotspots where reckless riding has been reported is Nicholas Everitt Park, next to Oulton Broad, where youths have been seen speeding past........
