Plans that could see an unoccupied property on London Road South, Kirkley in Lowestoft maintaining its retail space with the creation of an extra two new flats are being recommended for approval.

A scheme centring around "Partial change of use to ground floor to form ground floor rear flat - front retail space to be retained" for 229 London Road South was lodged with East Suffolk Council in March.
