Friend questions decision not to detain woman before railway death
Ravenna Rose Barrie, 41, of Deepdale, Brundall, died on November 28, 2025, at Buckenham railway station.
An inquest into her death heard Mrs Barrie had a long history of mental health difficulties.
She had been diagnosed with an emotionally unstable personality disorder 15 years earlier, had recently been diagnosed with autism and was awaiting an ADHD assessment.
There had also been questions over whether she was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Her husband, Stuart Barrie, told the court she would cope for months at a time before entering periods of severe depression.
“She had a constant voice in her head tormenting her night and day,” he said.
