Dog had to be put down after being abandoned in dire state in Norfolk
Breckland Council has said a decision was made to euthanise the dog due to its behaviour posing a significant safety risk to people.
The case saw the offender plead guilty in a landmark animal cruelty case with associated fines and costs totalling more than £900.
It was the first prosecution of its kind by Breckland Council.
