Plans for a 23-home development which would fill a sliver of land off a much larger estate located on the edge of Holt have been met with waves of objections from locals and the parish council.

If approved, 43pc of the properties will be affordable homes and will they occupy a strip of land next to Lovell's existing development known as Heath Farm, near Sanders Coaches and which consists of 213 homes.

However, the scheme has been met with backlash from those who live at Heath Farm, with significant concerns raised over vehicle access.

Access would be gained from Partridge Way to the west of the site and Pheasant Close to the east of the site.
