Sex offenders given better treatment than other inmates at HMP Norwich
HM Chief Inspector of Prisons revealed sex criminals living in ‘pod’ accommodation in M wing have their own in cell showers and toilets – while other inmates are left with no heating or hot water.
Working conditions for these convicts were also deemed to be more engaging, as they get to spend all day doing printing and textiles, while other inmates are left to do "meaningless work".

Inspectors said in a report: “On the main site, prisoners convicted of sexual offences living in the pods on M wing spent all day in the textiles and printing workshop, but elsewhere there were too many men underemployed doing meaningless wing work."
M wing is for criminals convicted of sexual offences and has 48 single cells.
