Holt could soon have a Lidl supermarket as the company has bought a site on the new Heath Farm development off Nightjar Road.

The supermarket chain is preparing to make a submission to North Norfolk District Council later in the year for its bid to open the store in the town.

If approved it will be part of the Heath Farm development of more than 200 homes.
