New housing bid scrapped by developers after officials raise contamination fears
A 23-home development had been planned to fill a strip of land between the 213-home Heath Farm scheme and an industrial estate in Holt
However it has been pulled after safety fears were raised by neighbours and environmental health officers.
The final objection before developer, Lovell, withdrew their plans was from officials who pointed out that the development's proposed location next door to an industrial estate may cause issues.

An official wrote: "I would have serious concerns regarding impact to future residential amenity given the proposed location of housing close to a number of industrial units.
"These are long standing industrial uses which have operated for many years.
"I note that these historic industrial unit planning consents do not appear to include........
