Police were called at around 11.45pm on Saturday (May 10) to reports of a man in his 40s who had been assaulted following an altercation with another man in Church Street in Cromer.

The victim had to be taken by air ambulance to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.
