'We could run out of cash' says Norfolk's 1940s town
Fears have been raised that Sheringham will become a money desert during peak demand in the summer and during major events, such as its celebration of all things 1940.
Experience Sheringham, the rebranded chamber of commerce for the town, is calling on people to submit their views on cash service provisions before it makes a case to Link, the ATM network.
It hopes to get a better banking hub to keep up with cash and business demands, especially at peak times such as the major events it holds during the summer season.
The organisation says that the lack of banking facilities is already seeing people going to Holt instead.
