Just a day before he took to the stage on the second night of the Thetford Forest summer concert series, indie rock band James' frontman Tim Booth was on crutches.

The 65-year-old singer, famous for stage dives and walkabouts during performances, damaged his ankle earlier this month during a gig in Plymouth.

James perform at Forest Live 2025 (Image: lee blanchflower) But by Thursday night he was amazingly back to his energetic best as he and his band wowed the 6000-strong Thetford crowd basking in perfect mid summer weather.
