Developer appeals rejection of 230-acre solar farm that could power 11,300 homes
The proposal at Cawston was rejected by Broadland District Council due to the majority of land being used for agriculture, although the applicant said agricultural activity can continue alongside the site.
Exagen Development Ltd has now made an appeal to the Planning Inspectorate, stating the scheme would deliver major public benefits, including clean electricity, energy security and biodiversity gains.
