Beach steps in Norfolk village upgraded after bonfire vandalism
Mundesley's Cardiac Hill steps, which the seafront to a Second World War gun battery, were left badly damaged in June when wooden handrails were ripped out and burned on a bonfire.
The attack left regular users “devastated”, but it also sparked a surge of donations from villagers and holidaymakers, raising around £2,400.
