South Norfolk councillors approved a retrospective application from Chet Valley Vineyard in Bergh Apton, permitting functions and outdoor use of the winery site on Loddon Road.

The scheme will allow up to 24 events a year, no more than two per month, with visitor numbers capped at 70 at any one time.

The vineyard markets itself as a venue for wine tastings, tours, dinners and private hire, including weddings and corporate events, as well as experience evenings such as cheese and wine nights and sip and paint........
