The scheme, submitted by borough and parish councillor Tom de Winton, will see five three-bedroom lodges and three one-bedroom camping pods installed on the historic site in Brancaster.

The fort, now part of a Scheduled Ancient Monument, was established by the Romans around 230 AD and used as a coastal garrison for 150 years.
