Grisly warnings amid row over new homes on 'Slaughterhouse Row'
They say the row of proposed houses, in Shropham, will be in "direct line of sight" of millions of birds being sent to slaughter and fear the development could lead to complaints and demonstrations.
The farm is run by Traditional Norfolk Poultry (TNP), which processes around 7.5 million chickens and turkeys each year.

The company put in an objection to the planning application for the new four homes, on Hargham Road.
At a recent Breckland Council meeting, Mark Gorton, its founder and managing director, said the proposed two-storey properties would look straight into the site's live bird holding area.
