David Bick, the Reform leader of Norfolk County Council, has written to housing association Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL) pulling the authority out of its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) over the redevelopment of Thetford's Abbey Estate.

In the letter, shared with campaigners from the Abbey Estate Action Group, Mr Bick said the council was "not satisfied" the agreement had progressed as intended and - as it was not legally binding - believed it served "no material purpose going forward".
