The application, initially submitted in May by landlord Yalcin Demilaray, sought to develop the former site of Eastern Office Equipment on Wellington Road, Dereham.

The business, once a fixture of the town centre, closed in 2019 after more than 40 years of trading.

The property was then subsequently turned into the Old Eagle Market, a coffee shop and delicatessen, which has also since closed, and the property has now sat derelict for more than three years.
