Two people seriously injured after three-vehicle crash

The collision happened on Thursday (April 16) at 10.34am on the A1065 Mundford Road, at the junction with Peppers High Hill and Harling Drove, in Weeting.

A silver Suzuki Swift, a grey Citroen Picasso, and a red Nissan Qashqai crashed into each other.

Emergency services, including ambulance, fire, and the East Anglia Air Ambulance were sent to the scene and the road was closed until about 3pm.

The driver of the Citroen, a man in his 80s, and a female passenger in her 70s, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, where they remain.

Police are urging witnesses to the collision or anyone who observed the driving of any of the vehicles involved before the incident to come forward.
