From a new butcher's to a gadget shop, here are five new businesses that opened their doors and helped boost the Norfolk economy last month.

The shop front in Upper St Giles in Norwich

G and G Fresh is bringing freshly made biltong and boerewors sausage along with a wide selection of cuts to the people of Norwich from its new store in Upper St Giles.

Run by George Dithejane, 46, and his sons James and George, the shop opened at the start of August.

The family have previously done their business online and have been building a customer base since 2017.

They have now decided to open a shop to develop a closer relationship with their customers.

MenKind opened in Castle Quarter

Menkind opened in Castle Quarter in Norwich on August 19.

The store offers a "distinctive mix" of novelty gifts, tech gadgets and licensed merchandise including anime and Star Wars figurines.

The UK-wide retailer, known for its playful and unusual products, previously operated in the city in Chantry Place before........
