Zayd Saheb, 25, of Somerleyton Road, London, and Zakariye Mohamed, 24, of Elms Crescent, London, were both sentenced on Friday at Ipswich Crown Court after a spate of courier fraud in both Norfolk and Suffolk.

An elderly couple in Diss were the duo's first victims on October 24, 2023.

A woman in her 70s received a phone call from a man claiming to be a police officer and told her that a family member had been arrested with £4,000 on his person.

The victims withdrew £8,000 from three separate bank accounts and were asked by the fake police officer to take it to London.

The couple refused to do this and instead arranged for another officer........
