Landlord accuses City Hall of making property investment 'unviable'
Landlord, Dan Trivedi, pulled out of converting the former Heath House pub in Gertrude Road into a house of multiple occupation (HMO) after claiming the council's Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) was four times over what it should have been.
Mr Trivedi has criticised the "incompetent" council for getting in the way of investing in property after the levy forced him to sell the site.
Norwich City Council however say that levy was correct and never appealed by the landlord.
