Hundreds pledge support for plans to convert grade II-listed city site
In just four days 230 people have signed a petition in support of the proposals for United Reformed Church (URC) in Elm Hill along Princes Street.
The scheme, put forward by Alma, an independent cultural arts venue and multi-use space for performing arts, is being led by Leticia Thope.
She says she hopes the grade II-listed building will become “a modern-day assembly space, a place of shared story, creativity".
