Woman tells court how she 'fought for her life' as ex tried to throw her down a well

Camilla Welby described how she used her scarf to strangle Douglas Clifton Brown to stop him as he tried to drag her towards the deep shaft at High House estate, near Congham.

She told the hearing how he had driven her to the disused well on the estate, which is run by the Clifton Browns as an exclusive wedding venue, and only stopped his attack after she managed to get the scarf around his neck and pulled it until he started to choke.
